I FOUND MYSELF……

FOUND MYSELF

when I was lost in the labyrinth of solicitude and amore,
when the whole world looked not less than an ogre:
I found myself..
when the rosiness of oh so splendid life vanished;
I found myself…
When The eternal chase of defunct desires and dead dreams ended;
I found myself..
When I emptied my soul for the tremor in me could not longer be sustained;
I found myself…
When the delusion finally converged with  it’s rationale;
I found myself..
When the colors of the resplendent painting faded:
I found myself…
When the battle got over and the courage got  it’s cicatrix;
I found myself…
When the storm subsided and the destruction was peace;
I finally found myself…!

  1. How do you’ll get such beautiful and difficult words in mind…….my English is a bit poor….nicely written but couldn’t understand and I won’t make an effort to open my dictionary 😜

    These are so beautifully written that I couldn’t stop admiring.
    Each word and phrase is handpicked and so aptly placed that I’m awestruck! It’s always a pleasure reading your stuff Krati. This one is sheer brilliance! 🙂
    Screw corporate world, it sucks! Go for writing poetry. You’ll rock!

      1. No lady, it’s no magnanimity. I wrote exactly how I felt. There’s a reason why I visit your blog almost every day. Because it is a pleasure being here. And I think you are being magnanimous with such humble comments. Keep writing pieces like these and I’ll keep commenting. 😛
        My best wishes! 🙂

      1. Yes I liked it much so especially being a poet for over 40 years. I have written over 5000 poems and songs and counting . Last year I decided to give them to the world and after reluctance I joined allpoetry.com. What fascinated me was there were so many people are were as good as me or better . What blew my mind was a lot of them were in school or early 20s and in different countries all over the world but most from India where I’ve become friends with many of them and it never would of happened if I wouldn’t of stepped out of my comfort zone

      3. Yes that’s what I’m trying to do is gain exposure. Same as you . Yes that was the first thing I noticed when I started exploring sites on poetry , songs and writing in general. What hurts me is I’m not computer savy. Look at my site . It’s not inviting the least bit. Haha. Don’t know how to navigate and set mine up. All I can do is post something. Thanks for the kind words and your time . Have a great night

      5. Thank you for that. I didn’t know I could goggle it. Your first one to even give me that pointer. I did authorize my friend to help me earlier this year but haven’t heard from her since. She from India also . She excellent poetress . Tas mahal has included some of work in their magizine
