FOR ONCE. . . . .

For once I want to feel the happiness.
For once I want to do away with the glumness.
For once I want to feel the pain subside.
For once I want to just hide.

For once I want to seek solace
For once I want to lower the pace.
For once I want to fly high
For once I wish to touch the sky.
For once I want to break the rhyme
For once i want to shine.

For once I want to get detached
For once I don’t want to get trashed.
For once I want to forget
For once I don’t want to regret.

    When you say “For once I want to break the rhyme” it reminds me of the first verse of ‘Stressed Out’ by Twenty One Pilots:

    “I wish I found some better sounds no one’s ever heard,
    I wish I had a better voice that sang some better words,
    I wish I found some chords in an order that is new,
    I wish I didn’t have to rhyme every time I sang,”

    I think you said it first, though – right? 🙂

      16. Heyyy. 15 times. I livein the western side… in rajasthan. I don’t live in a metro city but if you’re the one who enjoys the view of some royal historic monuments & a tad bit scenic natural beauty.. than i’d fondly host ya. 😃

      17. I’ve spent some time in Abu Parvat. There’s some lovely scenery up there, and some fantastic views of the plains down below! Plenty of temples and historic stuff too – it’s great!
        Is that anywhere near you? 🙂

      24. Even I am a greenhorn in writing.. Just started giving it all the more time only in past few months.. 🙂 I too hope I learn and grow… There is no end to it… :).

      25. Humble? Nah – that’s just plain old lack-of-self-respect with a big dollop of self deprecating, negative self-talk. 🙂
